Three new members joined LFPD last year.

Jessica Nathe

Jessica is a Colorado native growing up on the Western Slope.  Jessica and her husband moved to Northern Colorado in 2016 during which time she began her EMS career.  Jessica has also been part of the fitness industry for over twenty years.  Outside of work Jessica enjoys running, camping, hiking, traveling.  She spends her spare time caring for her small farm of chickens, ducks, bees, pigs…. and of course, walking her dog!

Jessica joined the Livermore Fire Protection District in hopes to expand her passion of helping others in her local community.

Mike Richardson

Mike was born in Philadelphia and moved to Medford New Jersey at the age of six.  After graduating high school Mike enlisted in the Army where he was assigned to the 82nd Airborne assigned as a Military Police Officer. During his service Mike was deployed to Granada as part of Operation Urgent Fury, the initiative was to protect the lives of US students and restore a democratic government.  After the military Mike returned to New Jersey and worked with the Pipe Fitters Union as a welder and then later in HVAC field.  Mike moved to Livermore Colorado in 2022 to eventually retire. Mike has joined the Livermore Fire Protection District out of a strong desire to help his community.

 

Henry Vancil

Henry moved to Fort Collins in 1974.  He attended Beattie Elementary, Boltz Jr. High, and Rocky Mountain High School.  After graduating from Colorado University, he spent 14 years teaching high school in Alaska.  Henry moved back to Northern Colorado in 2008 to start a career as a firefighter/paramedic with West Metro Fire Rescue.  Henry has risen to the rank of Lieutenant with West Metro Fire Rescue.  Henry lives in Bonner Peak Ranch.  He enjoys horses and dogs, hunting and shooting sports, and thoroughly digs his wife Robin!
