"Fill the Boot"

People in safety vests holding signs and collecting donations on a road with traffic cones and a "SLOW" sign. Livermore Fire Dept. logo.

Fire agencies across the country hold periodic "boot drives" to help raise funds for department needs and/or specific community causes.  As an all-volunteer fire district operating on limited funds, these donations from the public help us to purchase instruments, equipment, and apparatus to meet the ever-increasing demands of providing responses to accidents on Highway 287 (27 miles from Haystack Rock to the WY border), medical emergencies, and fire suppression in our 333 square mile/220,000 acre district.

A huge thank you to everyone who donated to this year's "Fill The Boot" during the 4th of July weekend!
